The aim is straightforward: explain the game clearly, report from strong sources and build original reference material worth returning to.
Independent by design
Pickleball Cosmos is built as an institution-first publication rather than a founder personality brand. We use the Pickleball Cosmos Editorial byline for publication-level work and do not publish individual contributor identities as part of the editorial product.
That privacy choice does not reduce the standard of accountability. It increases the importance of what readers can inspect directly: primary sources, governing records, calculation methods, evidence labels, update dates, testing disclosures and corrections.
What we publish
Learn covers rules, scoring and the mechanics of the game. Gear examines specifications, approval records, buying decisions and, when available, documented testing. Data tracks participation, infrastructure, rankings and the economics of the sport. Stories covers history, people, culture and developments that merit deeper treatment.
What we will not do
We do not invent expert personas to compensate for private contributor identities. We do not claim hands-on testing that did not occur. We do not turn estimates into measured facts or fill gaps in historical series without labeling the calculation. Press releases are source material, not finished reporting. Confidence is not a substitute for evidence.
